Peter Levine

Chairman (intended as of 1 May 2012)

Peter founded the former FTSE 250 Imperial Energy Corporation PLC and was its Executive Chairman and largest individual shareholder until its $2.4 billion sale in January 2009. Peter is the sole beneficial owner of Levine Capital, his family investment fund, 29% owner of PPC.

John Hamilton

Interim Chairman

John Hamilton is Managing Director of Levine Capital Management Advisors Limited and was previously Group Finance Director of Imperial Energy Corporation PLC, the Russia-focused oil exploration and production company which was acquired by the Indian state-owned energy firm, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, for US$2 billion in January 2009. Prior to joining Imperial Energy, John held senior positions at ABN AMRO.

Ben Wilkinson

Finance Director

Ben Wilkinson is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics. After qualifying with BDO Stoy Hayward, he joined ABN AMRO (subsequently Royal Bank of Scotland) as an Oil & Gas Corporate Finance banker. He joined President Petroleum from Levine Capital Management Advisors Limited.

Dr. David A.L. Jenkins

Deputy Chairman & Senior Independent Non-ExecutiveDirector

David has a distinguished career spanning 37 years until he retired from BP at the end of 1998. During this time, he became Chief Geologist in 1979 and General Manager for BP Exploration in 1984. He was then promoted to Chief Executive Technology for BP Exploration and Chief Technology Advisor to the CEO. David served for 9 years (2001-2009) as a Director of BHP Billiton pIc, the world's largest and most successful diversified resource company. David is currently serving as Energy Advisor to Temasek.

Dr. Michael Cochran

Exploration Director and Chairman of Remuneration Committee

Michael Cochran has over 40 year's experience of the oil and gas business. He was Senior Vice-President, Strategy and Planning and Head of Worldwide Exploration for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, and prior to his time at Anadarko, Michael was with Gulf Oil Company in Africa, South America and the USA.

David Wake-Walker

Non-Executive Director and Chairman of Audit Committee

David Wake-Walker spent over 25 years in financial services management, principally in corporate banking, prior to taking on a number of private equity, trading and corporate advisory roles. He has served as a non-executive director for numerous companies, both in the UK and overseas, including as Chairman.

Dr Richard J. Hubbard

Chief Operating Officer

Richard has 37 years’ experience in the international E&P business and has served in a wide range of leadership positions for BP (induding Chief Geologist and President BP Amaco Brasil), Statoil ASA, and Monument Oil & Gas. He has led teams that have discovered and developed over 15 billion barrels of new reserves in 20 countries with annual E&P budgets of $ 2 billion.

Miles Biggins

Executive Vice President, Business Development

Miles, a petroleum engineer, worked for Shell for 14 years in various roles, latterly focussed on business development. Following Shell, Miles worked at Northern Petroleum Plc, having been their Business Development Manager since 2004.

Jon Cohen

Executive Vice President, Exploration

Jon has previously worked with Shell International for 18 years, latterly in Shell Netherlands headquarters. Jon has also worked for Marathon Oil and AGIP as well as being Lecturer in Petroleum Geology at Imperial College London.

Carlos Felices

Argentina Country Manager

Carlos served as a Treasurer and then as Chief Financial Officer at YPF S.A, the largest corporation in Argentina, for eight years. Following YPF, he held the role of Chief Executive Officer and subsequently Chairman of Telecom Argentina S.A, a leading telecommunications group.

Ed Childers

President of US subsidiary

Ed Childers joined the Company in December 2007. He is an engineer with over 35 years experience in the oil and gas industry, most of it in the US. He began his career managing drilling and production operations for Texas Oil & Gas Corporation in East Texas and along the Gulf Coast. Subsequently he worked in senior roles for a number of companies, large and small, with responsibility for extensive drilling, completion and production programmes and for acquisitions, capital budgets and cost controls. He has also worked in Europe, Algeria and West Africa. He has extensive experience of the geology, engineering and infrastructure in the areas where President Petroleum operates, in particular, Louisiana, where the East Lake Verret and East White Lake fields are located. He is based at the Company's offices in Michigan.

Angelo Baskaran

US Treasurer

Angelo Baskaran is a Chartered Accountant in England and Wales and was formerly an investment banker with MBF Group out of Hong Kong and The Chart Group out of New York. He has broad experience in oil and gas and private equity as well as trading derivative hedge funds in the commodities markets globally.

Ray Shilling

Group Financial Controller

Ray Shilling is a Chartered Accountant in England and Wales. He joined the Group in May 2007 and has been responsible for implementing enhanced financial controls and reporting procedures as well as day to day administration, IT and treasury.
