President Petroleum has interests in two producing oil and gas fields in Louisiana, as operator of the East Lake Verret field and as a partner in the East White Lake field.

Interests in the East Lake Verret field (ELV) were acquired in July 2008 and the East White Lake (EWL) interest was acquired in January 2010.

Both fields produce oil and gas from a number of wells and both have upside potential from further drilling. Deep prospects at ELV with significant reserves will shortly be evaluated with an exploration well, Kafoury 3

The Company commissioned D-O-R Engineering of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to prepare an independent appraisal of the hydrocarbon reserves and future net income attributable to the Company’s interests in ELV and EWL as at 1 April 2010. From 2007 to June 2009 the Company operated the successful Orion gas field in Michigan. This interest was sold in June 2009.
